Ladies and gentlemen … welcome to Flat Chat Live!
Well. the big day came and went on October 20th with a huge turnout of strata owners and residents for Strata Community Australia’s NSW conference Lot Owners Day. There were about 200 of you – more than double their previous attendance – but even so I’m sure there are a few who would like to have been there but couldn’t make it.
So I have extracted and tricked up an audio recording of the event for those who want to hear exactly what went on. Unfortunately the sound quality of the recording wasn’t great – I was able to remove a loud buzzing sound but it left the voices sounding slightly tinny with weird watery effects when no one is speaking.
But it was a good session, we heard some great advice and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. The panellists are Suzie Broome from Makinson & D’apice, lawyers, Chris Moane of Integrated Consulting (who both sponsored the session), Michael Courtney, mediation manager with Fair Trading, Natalie Fitzgerald, of McCormack Strata Managers and strata lawyer Stephen Goddard representing the Owners Corporation Network.
