Welcome to the Flat Chat Forum where your questions can be answered by me, industry experts or other readers who've had similar issues.

This section is primarily for those who are on Executive Committees and who want advice on how best to fulfill their obligations and responsibilities. Anyone can read the postings but we would ask individual owners or those with questions about their own properties to restrict their involvement to the Flat Chat Basics Forum
We originally presented the different topics of the proposed changes to the NSW strata laws so they could be read and discussed item by item.
In opening this up for further discussion, we have maintained the original proposals and structure as many of the changes are subtle if not slight. Where the incoming laws vary from what was proposed back in 2013, we'll signal that as clearly as we can.
