Roundup: Flat Chat live is back – better than ever

OK, folks, try to contain your excitement but the all-singing, all dancing Flat Chat Live is back on the agenda

To be fair, it’s not called that any more, it’s called Strata Matters, it’s at a brand new venue and it’s a very different format, but it’s all on for March 10.

The Owners Corporation Network – the organisation run by strata owners, for strata owners –  is hosting me, plus people who actually know what they are talking about, in a day of strata facts and chats that will include …

  • The best of the worst of Flat Chat.
  • People committees and by-laws
  • What you can and should do about flammable cladding
  • What you can and can’t do about Airbnb in your block

And there will be heaps of other stuff in a Q&A style … um … Q&A, where experts in strata management, mediation, law and policy-making offer some real answers to your real questions about real problems.

What you won’t have is panels loaded with sponsors trying to flog you stuff you don’t want or need in the guise of answering questions that nobody has asked.

The event is called Strata Matters, it’s on from 10am to 3pm on Saturday,  March 10 at the UNSW CBD Campus, at 1 O’Connell Street, Sydney.

Tickets aren’t available yet but you can register your interest on the OCN website. Numbers will be limited so you really need to put your name down now if you don’t want to miss out.

We’ll have more details on who else will be there in the coming weeks.
