I’ve been told that in Queensland, police and fire brigades hold keys to gain access to units and lifts and will assist Ambos to get into a unit.  They’re also equipped to gain entry come what may. Expensively, but if I was bleeding out on my floor I’d want the door kicked in.

My question is: if a resident dials 000 for a reason which neccessarily means a callout and emergency services turning up onsite, will building managers be informed automatically by emergence services?  I’m (hypothetically) dying here, do I really have to try and call onsite manager and wait for IVR and redirect to the oncall? Surely, when a building management contract goes in, one of the registration events is passing contact info to the triple zero?

I tried searching google for any legislation pointers. I tried searching emergency services website. I even tried searching this forum (!) But I can’t see a clear statement.
