    The lift in our building has broken down 3 times in the past 2 months. They come to fix it fairly quickly, but today the repairman said that there is a sensor on the door on Level 4 which is not working properly. He cleared the fault (again) but says they do not make the sensor anymore to replace it.

    How is this possible? Has anyone else had this sort of issue?

    Any suggestions on what we do? Pay other lift companies to examine it? All and any suggestions welcome, thanks!

    Are you able to ask your lift repairer or manufacturer to source a 2nd hand sensor for you?
