I am new here and to Strata living. I am in Victoria.
Couple of questions.
The strata lot I am living in has 4 units – There are talks about engaging a body corporation to manage the common property – Just a shared drive way, nature strip, fence and shared letter boxes. Can owners who are keen to engage a body corporation forced owners who are not keen?
Nature strip – Is unit 1 responsible to mow the lawn on the nature strip?
One of the unit is owned by DHSS, they have not been responsive in some of the maintenance costs required on the shared fence with our neighbor. This is also the reason why some owners wanted to engage a body corporation to deal with DHSS. Will it work?
