NSW. We live in a small Art Deco complex of 4 in Neutral Bay which has no allotted parking for any units. Street parking is at a premium and there are often times where residents have to park many street away when returning from a quick trips (e.g. to the shops and back). My question is, the property has a large grassy front yard which could easily be converted a carport for parking. What would be required to change the strata by-laws to repurpose and build two double carports for all 4 residents (one each side of the block) or one double carport for 2 spots if not all want parking?
